Our Guiding Principles

Picture
We are who we are.

When you call us, you get the real person - not someone born and bred in a suit.
We come from diverse backgrounds such as hair styling, construction, and banking.  We are not stuffy lawyers.  We are real people who want to get to know you - the client - not just as a client but as a person.  We pride ourselves on being able to speak our trade in a way that you understand.  We will never look down on you, and we embrace your uniqueness.

We will meet you where you are.

Thanks to Zoom technology, we can meet with you wherever you are physically located.  But, this principle isn't about physical location.

Our clients come to us from all stages and walks of life.  Sometimes they haven't seen their children in months.  Sometimes they made a stupid mistake and are now facing criminal prosecution
.  Sometimes they are the victims of a traumatic experience, such as domestic abuse, and are trying to figure out a new reality for themselves.  We work with our clients no matter where they are in life.  Our goal is to help our clients navigate the legal system where they are.  As lawyers, we recognize that our clients are human, and we work to meet our clients wherever they may be and understand their situation.

Be Honest and Straightforward
Almost every client wants to know, "What are my chances?"  Unfortunately, we can't give you odds.  But we understand that having an understanding of the potential outcomes can give you peace of mind.  We strive to ensure that our clients are fully informed as to the legal strategy behind their case and understand the potential outcomes to help minimize the anxiety of the unknown.  As legal counselors, we don't sugarcoat our advice.  Sometimes telling our clients the hard truth about their case early can help reduce the strain later.  We always take our client's side, but we know that it is important to understand how the judge or jury may find in any given case, and we think it is important to share that honest feedback with our clients.

"In recognizing the humanity of our fellow beings, we pay ourselves the highest tribute."
